A completed fence replacement in Boerne
In April 2026, our crew completed approximately 400 linear feet of 6-foot board-on-board fencing in Boerne over about three weeks. The project included top cap, top trim, bottom kickboard, two pedestrian gates, one manual double vehicle gate and two small wrought iron enclosures around AC units and swimming pool equipment.
We removed the old fence, reused the existing metal posts and installed approximately one or two new posts. The finished fence steps along the property, with wood panels meeting the existing stone columns at the front entrance.

Can the existing metal posts stay?
Some fence replacements can retain existing metal posts. Our documented Boerne project reused most of its posts, but your fence needs its own assessment. Post condition, alignment, spacing and the proposed fence or gate design affect that decision.
Photograph both sides of the fence and the post bases. Include leaning sections, visible corrosion and changes in ground level. We can use those photos to start the scope discussion, then confirm conditions on site where needed.
Planning gates and equipment access
Tell us how you use each opening before choosing a gate layout. A pedestrian gate serves everyday walking access, while a double vehicle gate needs enough room for vehicles and for the gate leaves to move. For an automatic gate, include your preferred entry method and photos of any existing operator or power supply.
