400-Foot Board-on-Board Fence Replacement in Boerne

Replacing the wood while reusing metal posts
Our crew tore down the old fence and installed new wood while retaining the existing metal posts. Only approximately one or two additional fence posts were needed for this project. The rear-view photo shows the metal supports and wood framing used along the finished fence and pedestrian gate.
Reusing posts is a project-specific decision. For a similar replacement, send photos of the posts, their bases and the fence line so we can discuss which parts may be reusable and what needs an on-site inspection.
Board-on-board privacy with a stepped layout
The overlapping vertical boards provide the fence’s board-on-board appearance. Top cap and trim finish the upper edge, while the bottom kickboard completes the base. The photos show the fence stepping between sections as the ground elevation changes.
Pedestrian gates, vehicle access and equipment enclosures
Two pedestrian gates provide walking access through the fence. A separate manual double vehicle gate serves the vehicle entrance. The Boerne gates operate manually.
The scope also included two small wrought iron fences around the AC units and swimming pool equipment.
