8-Foot Privacy Fence and Sliding Gate in Fredericksburg

Duncan’s Services replaced an old chain-link fence with approximately 400 linear feet of 8-foot board-on-board fencing at a Fredericksburg Airbnb. Completed in November 2025, the project took about three weeks and included top cap, top trim, bottom kickboard, and a sliding gate with a LiftMaster CSL24UL operator.

What did this Fredericksburg project include?

Replacing chain-link with board-on-board privacy fencing

The Fredericksburg project began with removal of the old chain-link fence. Duncan’s Services installed board-on-board fencing with overlapping vertical pickets. The new fence gives the rental’s outdoor space a solid privacy boundary, with top cap and trim defining the upper edge and a kickboard along the bottom.

The photos show the finished fence line, matching gate details and the back of the fence. This was a combined fence-and-gate project, so the work included both the enclosure and vehicle access.

How did the fence and turf crews coordinate?

The main challenge was working around another crew installing artificial turf at the same property. Duncan’s Services coordinated the fence work with that installation. The overall fence-and-gate project took about three weeks; that is this project’s timeline, not a standard completion promise for every 400-foot fence.

Which automatic gate operator was installed?

The sliding gate uses a LiftMaster CSL24UL operator. It was installed as part of the Fredericksburg fence-and-gate project. A sliding gate moves along the entrance rather than swinging into the driveway; the layout and available space determine whether that design suits another property.
